This post is somehow misleading. Connection to GPRS is not free. You will need to pay for data transfer to the operator providing the GPRS connection to your mobile.
So the calls are not totally free, maybe cheaper you can say. Cheers

That's true. Its not totally Free of cost.
If you have unlimited data usage plans, you do not have to pay anything extra for making calls using this app.
Otherwise, As you said, its 'cheaper' to make calls.
